Earlier this week, Campbell County senior Gabe Gibson announced his commitment to play basketball at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota.

Gibson posted the following announcement on social media on Wednesday, March 31.

Gibson was a two-year varsity letterman for the Camels. He averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game during his senior season. Gibson shot 43 percent from the field and 24 percent from deep. He had 14 assists and 11 steals during the season. Gibson helped Campbell County to an 11-7 overall record. The Camels went 4-2 in the Northeast Quadrant, which was good for second place. They lost to crosstown rival Thunder Basin in the regional play-in game.

The University of Jamestown Jimmies is in Jamestown, ND. The school competes at the NAIA level and is part of the Great Plains Athletic Conference. There are presently no players from Wyoming on the Jimmies roster. Danny Neville is the head coach.
