Lovell's Carissa Lindsay Signs With University of Providence

Lovell High School track athlete Carissa Lindsay will take her skills to the next level as she will attend the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana. Lindsay placed 8th at the 3A State Outdoor Track Meet in the shot-put with a toss of 35-1.25 and also took 8th in the discus at 111-7. Lindsay had a strong effort at the 2023 State Indoor Track Meet as she placed 4th in the shot at 34-11.25. In her sophomore season. She was 13th in the 3A shot at the State Outdoor meet with an effort of 30-5.75.

She has been throwing the shot since she was 8 years old and her family has a long history of excelling in track and field. The University of Providence is an NAIA institution.
