Two new No. 1 ranked teams highlight the latest WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Boys Basketball Poll.

Worland and Rocky Mountain remain No. 1, but Thunder Basin and Encampment now join them atop the rankings.

In 4A, Thunder Basin and Cheyenne Central trade spots. The Bolts win last Friday over the Indians vaults them to the top spot. They received 12 first-place votes. Sheridan and Cheyenne East hold in second and third, but both earned multiple first-place nods. Central drops to fourth but still picked up a vote for No. 1. Campbell County holds in fifth.

The Encampment Tigers take over the top spot in Class 1A. They earned eight of the top ballots. Farson-Eden ascends to No. 2. Previously top-ranked Saratoga drops to third after suffering their first two defeats of the season last weekend. Upton and Southeast remain fourth and fifth.

Worland picked up 16 of the No. 1 votes to hold the top position in 3A. The Warriors are followed by Lander and Powell. Douglas moves up to fourth, which pushes Rawlins down to fifth.

The 2A ranks remain the same as last week’s poll. Rocky Mountain is first with 10 of the 11 top ballots. Sundance holds onto second but Tongue River is now only three points back of the Bulldogs. Big Piney and Big Horn finish out the top five.
