Cheyenne’s Taco John’s Invite Delayed Until Friday and Saturday
Mother Nature forced an early decision to a revised schedule for this weekend’s Taco John’s Invite basketball tournament in Cheyenne and Laramie.
Originally a three-day event, thanks to a winter storm and road closures, the choice to change to a two-day tournament was made on Wednesday.

The Taco John’s Invite will now be a Varsity and JV-only event. The first games are set for 11 a.m. on Friday in Cheyenne and will continue all day with the last games at 8 p.m. On Saturday, games will begin at 9 a.m. The final ones are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. There are four venues which include Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, and Cheyenne South High School, and also Storey Gymnasium. Laramie will also host one game at home on Saturday.
The revised schedule kept alive the tournament’s wish for three games for all teams.
Here is a look at the completely revised schedule as of Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
