Cody Football Postgame Remarks

Cody is the two-time 3A state champions in football with a ton of returning talent for the 2022 season. Quarterback and linebacker Luke Talich is a Player of the Year candidate. He threw for over 1300 yards and 17 touchdowns last season and was a stalwart on defense. Matt Nelson is solid in the secondary and returned not one but interceptions for touchdowns in last year's 3A title game against Jackson. Those two, among others, make the Broncs the favorites in 3A this season.

We had a chance to talk with Talich and Nelson after their 35-13 road win over Buffalo on Friday. They certainly like this year's edition of the team and the sky is the limit.
