It's no wonder that Cody is the favorite to win the 3A state championship in football in 2022 after winning it all in 2021. The Broncs made quick work of Riverton on Friday in Park County 49-0 and led by 35 at halftime.

Cody did pretty much what they wanted to do when they had the ball and got 2 quick scores from Jackson Schroeder and 2 more touchdowns from Luke Talich. The first one was a 45-yard gallop to the end zone, which was followed by a 55-yard run for a Td and then he caught a 10-yard pass for another TD.  He also forced a fumble with a sack that was recovered for a touchdown and mixed in with all of that was a 73-yard run for a score from Matt Nelson in the 3rd quarter.

Cody will host an improved Worland team on Friday and it's back to the drawing board for Riverton after a big loss and a loss in their Zero-Week game to Powell. The Wolverines will host Evanston Friday night.
