Cody’s Baylee Stafford Joins UW Cross Country/ Track Teams
One of the most gifted athletes in the state, Baylee Stafford of Cody has committed to run at the University of Wyoming. She has excelled in cross country as she placed 3rd at the 3A state meet in 2019 as her team won the state championship. Stafford also finished 3rd at the state meet in 2018 and 2017 with a 7th place finish as a freshman in 2016.
Stafford also ran indoor track this past season but is a versatile athlete, to say the least. She is a 3-time all-state soccer player as Cody is the 3-time state champions in 3A, including a 3-0 win over Buffalo in the 2019 title match.
