Emma Walker from Lingle-Fort Laramie Commits to Minot State

The next step for Emma Walker on her athletic journey will be Minot State in North Dakota to compete in track and field. The Lingle-Fort Laramie senior will be someone to watch in the 1A hurdle events at the State Outdoor Track Meet next month in Casper.

Last season at the 1A State Meet, she placed 8th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.47 and 6th in the 300 hurdles in 51.05. Her 4x400 meter relay team won the 1A State Championship so that was quite an accomplishment.

As a sophomore, Walker took 3rd at the 1A State Track Meet in the 110 hurdles with a clocking of 18.04 and placed 6th in the 300 in 53.08. Her 4x100 meter relay team was 4th at the 2021 State Meet and the Dogger 1600 medley placed 3rd.

Minot State is a Division II school that competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
