Girls Soccer: 4A Regional Tournaments and 3A State Qualifier Games 2013

Time to see which teams are going to the state tournament, and where in the bracket will they be placed.

4A East at Cheyenne Central:

#1 Laramie and #2 East have a first round bye, and have automatically qualified for the state tournament.

Thursday, May 9th:

#3 Central 6 #6 South 0 - South Eliminated. Central qualifies for the state tournament.

#5 Sheridan 2 #4 Gillette 1 Shootout: 4-3 - Gillette Eliminated. Sheridan qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, May 10th:

#2 East 2 Central 0

#1 Laramie 4 Sheridan 0

Saturday, May 11th:

Central 2 Sheridan 1 - 3rd Place

Laramie 2 East 0 - Championship

4A West at Evanston:

Evanston gets #5 seed over Rock Springs, due to head-to-head.

#1 Natrona and #2 Green River receive a first-round bye and have automatically qualified for the state tournament.

Thursday, May 9th:

#4 Riverton 2 #5 Evanston 1 OT - Evanston Eliminated. Riverton qualifies for the state tournament.

#3 Kelly Walsh 3 #6 Rock Springs 2 - Rock Springs Eliminated. Kelly Walsh qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, May 10th:

#1 Natrona 3 Riverton 0

#2 Green River 4 Kelly Walsh 1

Saturday, May 11th:

Kelly Walsh 5 Riverton 0 - 3rd Place

Green River 1 Natrona 0 - Championship

3A State Qualifier Games at Worland:

The first place team in each quadrant (Buffalo, Lander, Cody and Jackson) receive a bye and is already in the state tournament.

Friday, May 10th:

(#2 SE) Torrington 7 (#3 SW) Pinedale 2 - Pinedale Eliminated. Torrington plays Buffalo in the first round of the state tournament.

(#3 NW) Worland 2 (#2 NE) Douglas 0 - Douglas Eliminated. Worland plays Lander in the first round of the state tournament.

Saturday, May 11th:

(#2 NW) Powell 4 (#3 NE) Newcastle 0 - Newcastle Eliminated. Powell plays Jackson in the first round of the state tournament.

(#2 SW) Star Valley 9 (#3 SE) Rawlins 0 - Rawlins Eliminated. Star Valley plays Cody in the first round of the state tournament.
