Greybull Buffs Will Have a New Girls Basketball Coach

After eight seasons, Jeff Hunt has stepped down as the girls’ basketball coach with the Greybull Buffs.

Hunt told WyoPreps his decision was based on personal reasons, including a desire to watch his kids play as they get older.

Hunt had an overall record of 114-93 in his tenure. That included three state tournament appearances and a pair of 20-win seasons. The Buffs went 10-13 during the 2019-20 season.

Hunt coached players that received eight All-State awards handed out by the Wyoming Coaches Association, including two-time All-State selections Kendall Wright and Ky Sorensen.

The search for a replacement is underway.
