Greybull distance runner Gaven McColloch certainly enjoyed some success at the 2A State Track Meet back in May at the Harry Geldein Stadium in Casper. McColloch turned in a dominating performance in the 3200-meter run that resulted in a state championship with a time of 10.19.29. That time was 40 seconds faster than his state-qualifying mark. He placed 3rd in the 1600 meter run with a clocking of 4.53.04, 11 seconds off the winning pace.

In the 2020 cross country season, McColloch competed for Worland and took 36th at the State Meet in 18.45. That's a huge improvement from his 2019 state meet performance when he took 50th place in 19.22.83,
