Saturday's 1A 6-Man contest featured two teams looking for their first wins of the season and it was HEM who prevailed over Ten Sleep 67-13 in Hanna. It was a tough season for both squads but they played hard until the end and the Miners broke a 16-game losing streak in the process. Their last win was in October of 2020 with a 54-23 victory over Normative Services. Even though HEM did not qualify for the 6-Man playoffs, they did make 5 straight postseason appearances from 2016-2020.

Ten Sleep finished the year winless but the Pioneers showed some grit and played through some adversity. Ten Sleep didn't have a team last season due to low participation numbers and didn't have a squad in 2018 or 2019 either. But the Pioneers made it through the whole season and they deserve credit for that.

We have some great photos of the HEM-Ten Sleep battle compliments of SolaasSnaps Photography. They can be found in our gallery below. Enjoy!
