Jackson Drops to 2-2 With Road Loss to South Fremont, ID
Jackson has played some tough teams so far in 2022. Shelley, Idaho, and Douglas gave the Broncs a big challenge and so did South Fremont from St. Anthony's, Idaho over the weekend. The Cougars are 5-0 and Jackson dropped to 2-2 following a 34-14 road defeat.
South Fremont put Jackson on their heels by scoring the first 27 points of the game and it's hard to play catch-up against a quality team like South Fremont. the Broncs did produce a couple of touchdowns in the game with quarterback Owen Janssen connecting with Seb Brunner for 9 yards and a score with the 2nd TD pass going to Braden Hills that covered a dozen yards.
The Jackson defense had its difficulties and that unit will be tested again as #1 Cody comes to Teton County on Friday. The Broncs are ranked #3 and it's the premiere game in 3A this week.
Be sure and take a look at some stellar photos of that Jackson-South Fremont game in our gallery below, compliments of Tammy Griebel. Enjoy!
