Jackson's Kate Brigham Shines at State Track Meet Again

Jackson's Kate Brigham has assumed the role of the best distance runner in the state with 2 wins at the State Track Meet last month in Casper. Brigham won the 4A 800-meter run and the 1600-meter run in convincing fashion, in particular, in the 1600 she crossed the finish line well ahead of the field.

Brigham has the best times in the state in the girls 800 in 2.11.99 and 4.53.41 in the 1600. She also ran on the 4A champion 1600 medley relay and her 4x800 relay team took 8th. She's a superior runner and is the state's reigning champion in 4A cross country.

At the 2021 State Track Meet, Brigham won the 4A 800 and the 1600 with relay wins in the 4x800 and the 1600 medley. She will continue her athletic career at the University of Colorado.
