One of the outstanding all-around athletes in Wyoming is Kaden Dower who competes in track and field for the Western Heritage Academy in Riverton. He played football for Shoshoni this past season and earned all-state honors.

In track, he is one of the rare athletes that competed in the sprints and the throwing events. In the season-opening meet at Wind River, Dower won the shot and the discus, plus the 100 and 200-meter dashes. At last week's meet in Greybull, he once again won the shot and the discus with a 2nd place finish in the 100. Back in 2019 as a sophomore, he was the 1A state champion in the 100 and the 200.

Dower recently committed to playing football at Chadron State in Nebraska and we caught up with him after some impressive throws in the Bill Gerrard meet in Greybull.
