Mountain View Breaks 3 Game Losing Streak Pounding Pinedale
Mountain View has a strong football tradition with playoff appearances from 2012 through 2020 with 3 state championships in that time period. Last season, the Buffs went 1-7 and this year they sit at 4-3 after a 52-0 win over Pinedale. Mountain View won their first 3 games of the season, then lost 3 in a row. That win over the Wranglers kept their 2A playoff hopes alive with an elimination game to end the regular season against Kemmerer. The winner makes the postseason as the #4 seed from the West and the loser is out.
It was a rough season for Pinedale as they're winless so far this season with one game to play but the effort is still there. They'll wrap up the season on Friday at Rich County, Utah. The Wranglers' last winning season and playoff appearance was in 2016 and have made the postseason twice since 2001.
