Natrona Football Preview [Video]

Casper-Natrona once again figures to be a 4A championship contender in football which is nothing new for this program. Head Coach Steve Harshman is entering his 34th year at the helm of the Mustangs with 33 straight playoff appearances and 7 State Championships.

NC went 7-4 and leveraged their defense to earn a vast majority of those victories. They were the #1 ranked defense in 4A last season and return Tucker Sides who had over 100 tackles in 2023. That defensive unit will be called upon again to carry a big load.

The offense had its ups and downs in 2023 and but have enough good skill players to improve from a year ago. That improvement starts on the line of scrimmage which historically has been a strength for the program.

4A won't be easy as they'll play playoff contenders Sheridan, Cheyenne East, Campbell County, and Thunder Basin in the first 5 weeks of the season. We talked with Steve Harshman and Tucker Sides about the upcoming season and they have confidence in their ability
