Natrona County High School athlete Harrison Taubert will be headed to Northeast Nebraska Community College in Norfolk to continue his baseball career. He is a two-time All-State pick in American Legion baseball for the Casper Oilers and played in Casper's state championship team in 2019. In 2020, Taubert opted to play for the Colorado Slammers Summer Select team and played in three national showcase tournaments. He was named to the all-tournament team at the WWBA National Championships in Atlanta. Taubert played centerfield and at the plate, he led the Slammers with a .431 batting average and a .588 slugging percentage.

Taubert was also the quarterback for the Natrona football team but played just 4 games due to an injury. Prior to getting hurt, he had 10 touchdowns averaged 135 yards per game rushing. He also had 13 touchdowns in his sophomore year at the quarterback spot as Natrona won the 4A championship.

Northeast Nebraska played in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference and they qualified for the junior college DII World Series. They started out the 2021 season ranked 14th in the country.
