O’Neill takes AD job in Evanston

Bubba O'Neill, who guided the Red Devils basketball team to a state title this past season, who has served as the basketball head coach since the 2001-2002 season, and who has been an assistant coach for the Red Devil football team, will succeed outgoing AD Kay Fackrell.

Fackrell had previously planned to consider ending his career as a teacher, coach and administrator after a career of an even 40 years, but the package offered by the district was too attractive to turn down.
