PhotoFest: Rawlins Volleyball Tournament

The huge Rawlins Volleyball tournament was held on Friday and Saturday featuring 16 teams from around the state. After bracket play on Friday, the top 8 teams went to the Gold Bracket and the rest to the Silver Bracket.

In the Gold Bracket, Buffalo took first place beating Powell in three sets, 17-21,21-18, and 15-11. Buffalo was ranked 2nd in our WyoPreps 3A poll and Powell was ranked 4th. Douglas took the 3rd place match over Pinedale in three sets 21-14, 15-21, and 15-11. Douglas was ranked 5th in 3A. Mountain View who was the 3A #1 team was 5th in the Gold Bracket by winning the consolation match over Wheatland 20-22, 24-22, and 15-9.

In the Silver Bracket, Worland took first beating Lovell in straight sets 21-8 and 21-6. Lander defeated Torrington 2 sets to none for 3rd 21-11 and 21-7 and Thermopolis won the consolation match for 5th with a 21-19, 22-10 win over Newcastle.
