PhotoFest: State Volleyball 3rd Place Matches

While a lot of attention goes to the championship matches at the State Volleyball Tournament, there's no shortage of enthusiasm in the 3rd and 4th place matches on the final day of the tourney. Volleyball has a grueling season so finishing 3rd or 4th is a tremendous accomplishment.

In 4A, Cody took the 3rd place trophy with a 25-27, 25-23, 25-20, and 25-21 win over Casper Kelly Walsh. Lyman defeated Douglas for 3rd 23-25, 25-19, 25-22 24-26, and 15-6 while Tongue River rallied from a 2 sets to none deficit to beat Pine Bluffs in the 2A 3rd match, 19-25, 16-25, 25-2 25-21 and 25-11. Upton placed in the 3 position in 1A as they beat Southeast 19-25, 25-16, 25-10 and 25-12.
