PhotoFest! Upton-Sundance Breaks Two Game Losing Streak
Upton-Sundance started the football season with a nice win over Cokeville but then dropped back-to-back games to Tongue River and Big Horn. Those two squads will give everybody headaches in 2A this season but the Patriots scored just points combined in their last two games.
Upton-Sundance got their offensive act together as they scored the last 22 points in their 36-16 home win over Burns on Friday. The Patriots do have a returning all-state player Eli Gill and a pair of returning all-conference selections in Keaton and Chase Mills. So there's enough experience on this team to give opponents something to think about. Now, it's all about consistency a limiting mistakes.
Upton-Sundance is 2-2 on the season and will meet their neighbor Newcastle this week. It's been a struggle for Burns this season, especially on offense but the 16 points they put up against Upton-Sundance was the best effort of the season. Still, the Broncs are 0-5 and will host winless Glenrock this week.
Be sure and take a look at some fantastic photos of that U-S/Burns game compliments of the Upton-Sundance Patriots. They can be found in our gallery below. Enjoy!
