PhotoFest: Upton-Sundance Edges Newcastle in 2A Football

A couple of rivals in Northeast Wyoming hooked up on the gridiron on Friday as Newcastle was on the road to meet Upton-Sundance in Upton. It was an eventful first quarter with Upton-Sundance jumping out to a 14-10 lead and it was an eventful 2nd quarter as well. The Patriots and Dogies traded touchdowns but Upton-Sundance held the lead at halftime 28-17. That's the way it stayed after a scoreless 2nd half as Upton-Sundance is now 3-2 in 2A football.

The Patriots will be on the road in Wheatland this week. Newcastle has lost their last 2 in a row and will have a tough road game on Friday night in Big Horn. the Dogies are 1-4 so far this season.
