Rawlins won the 3A state title in 2019 but the Outlaws found out how hard it is to repeat, even with substantial talent. This team went 16-8 and took 6th at this year's state tournament but also had 2 players that were named all-state and 4 total selections in the all-conference category. Leading the group was McKenzie Earl who was a rare 4-time all-state selection as well as 2-time all-state pick Brook Palmer. Aliya Edwards and Jessie Jerome were named all-conference.

In the quarterfinal round at state, Rawlins ran into a red hot Worland team and lost in 3 straight, 25-18, 25-22, and 26-24. But the Outlaws rallied for a 3-0 win over Buffalo in the consolation round, 25-12, 25-18, and 27-25.  In the 5th and 6th place match, Rawlins and Lander played an entertaining match with Lander coming out on top, 25-20, 24-26. 21-25, 25-20, and 15-10.

This senior class for Rawlins had productive careers but the Outlaws will say goodbye to Earl, Palmer, and Edwards. Jerome will return next season as a senior so there will be a significant amount of re-tooling for 2021.
