Sheridan continues to run the table in 4A football and played a neutral site game in Casper vs. Rock Springs on Friday due to smoky conditions in Sheridan. The Broncs were tested early by the Tigers but pulled away with a huge 2nd quarter.

Rock Springs played great to start the game with a field goal and a 1-yard run for a touchdown from Sam Thornhill but Sheridan showed some poise in that opening quarter with a 34-yard run to the end zone from Chance Morris so the Broncs trailed by 3 at the end of one quarter.

Sheridan exploded for points in quarter #2 as Kelten Crow scored from the 5-yard line, Morris had a 34-yard run for a TD, quarterback Ty Gilbertson found Breck Reed for 66 yards and a touchdown, and Crow ended the quarter with a 14-yard scamper for a touchdown. At the intermission, 35-10.

Sheridan got a 16-yard TD reception from Karson Chase in the 3rd quarter and a 27-yard to the house from Garrett Way in the 4th quarter. Rock Springs could only muster a safety in the 2nd half as the Broncs won it 49-12.

Sheridan is 7-0 and will host 7-0 Campbell County on Friday night. Rock Springs drops to 3-4 but the Tigers are in good shape to make the 4A playoffs. They'll host Cheyenne East on Friday. We have some pics to share from the Sheridan-RS game in Casper in our gallery below. Enjoy!
