Sheridan will be one of the 4A state championship contenders and the Broncs are 10-1 after a 78-37 win over Rock Springs in Casper on Saturday afternoon. It was a 10 point game in Sheridan's favor at the halftime intermission and the Broncs went wild in the 3rd quarter with a 29-0 run to put the game away. The more Rock Springs missed, the more Sheridan made.

Montana State signee Sam Lecholat was a load for the Rock Springs defense to handle and the same goes with the versatile Frank Sinclair. Lecholat had 12 points in the game on Saturday and Sinclair had 13. Lecholat has been averaging 17 points and 9 rebounds per game so he is a major force. It was a rough afternoon for the Rock Springs Tigers who fell to 2-8 on the year. They were led in scoring by Alan Martinez who poured in 19 points.

Sheridan and Cheyenne Central are the two teams right now on top of the 4A mountain and, they meet on Friday in Sheridan which should be a very, interesting game. The Broncs will turn right around and play a potent Cheyenne East team on Saturday.
