11 Teams Earn USA Softball of Wyoming State Titles in Cheyenne

The Wyoming USA Softball State Championships were in Cheyenne last weekend, and 11 champions were crowned across the 11 different divisions based on age and level of play. There were ‘B’ or competitive and Rec divisions ranging from 10U through 18U. Only one 8U division was contested. The 16U and 18U Rec divisions were combined in pool and bracket play.

Here are the champions from each of the age categories. In the parentheses are the second and third-place teams as provided by the JO State Commissioner. Congratulations to all the teams!

8U = Laramie Lightning (Lil Legends from Lander, Cheyenne Extreme)

10U Rec = Rock Springs Storm (Lady Legends from Lander, Valor Valkyrie from Casper)

10U B = WYCO from Cheyenne (Cheyenne Extreme, Sheridan Mystix)

12U Rec = Torrington Thunder (Laramie Lightning, Casper Rebels)

12U B = Cheyenne Extreme (Sheridan Mystix, Wicked 307 from Gillette)

14U Rec = Lady Legends from Lander (Casper Rebels, Green River Shockwave)

14U B = WYCO from Cheyenne (Wicked 307 from Gillette, Cheyenne Extreme)

16U Rec = Riverton Renegades

16U B = Sheridan Mystix (Havoc from Gillette, Casper Rebels)

18U Rec = Cheyenne Devils (Lady Legends from Lander)

18U B = Cheyenne Extreme (Wicked 307 from Gillette, Laramie Lightning)
