There was no change to the order of the top five teams in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll on Wednesday. What did change was how close the voting was across the top five. Thunder Basin remained the No. 1 ranked team.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL RANKINGS WEEK 7 2024

The Bolts held the top spot with 183 points in the voting. They received nine of the 16 first-place votes, but their lead in the poll dwindles to just three points over Campbell County and six points over Cheyenne East. The Camels got five first-place votes and finished at 180 points. Cheyenne East also picked up a pair of first-place tallies. The Thunderbirds had 177 points in the poll.

There was a drop to fourth and fifth. Cody and Wheatland stayed in those spots and were only three points apart. The difference was one more fifth-place vote for the Fillies.

Five more teams earned votes in the poll.
