State Cross Country 2014 [PHOTOS]

Mother nature had a great weekend weather wise in store for the State Championships in Sheridan.

The races were held at the VA Hospital course.

3A Girls RESULTS    TEAM PLACES Calbi Ausmann of Newcastle won with a new course record of 18 minutes 30 seconds. The old record was 18:38. Jackson wins team title.

2A Girls RESULTS     TEAM PLACES Jules Ward of Thermopolis won with a time of 19 minutes 15 seconds. Pine Bluffs/Burns 5-peats as team state champs.

4A Girls RESULTS     TEAM PLACES Karli Piaia of Rock Springs won with a time of 18 minutes 35 seconds. Gillette 3-peated as team state champs, by 1 point ahead of Rock Springs.

3A Boys RESULTS     TEAM PLACES Brody Smith of Cody won with a time of 15 minutes 45 seconds, topping Cody Peck of Star Valley. Roles were reversed for the 2 in 2013. Star Valley boys would 3-peat as team state champs.

2A Boys RESULTS     TEAM PLACES Keegan HerManyHorses of Wyoming Indian won with a time of 17 minutes 28 seconds. Wyoming Indian would 8-peat as team champs

4A Boys RESULTS      TEAM PLACES Chris Henry of Laramie won with a time of 15 minutes 33 seconds. Laramie would 3-peat as team champs.
