Wyoming High School Girls Swimming Scoreboard: Aug. 29-30, 2025
The 2025 Wyoming High School girls’ swimming and diving season starts this weekend with two days of competition. The defending state champions are Lander in Class 3A and Laramie in Class 4A. The opening weekend of the season eases teams into competition. The bigger day is Saturday, when pentathlons give swimmers and divers a chance to qualify for the state swim meet in Laramie. Only three pools will be hosting events: Gillette, Lander, and Rawlins.

Friday, Aug. 29:
LANDER RELAYS – Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Riverton, Sublette County, Worland.
Jackson won 5 events, and Lander won 4 events.
GILLETTE RELAYS – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Newcastle, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
Laramie and Campbell County each won three relays.
Team Scores = Laramie 262, Central 221, Buffalo 157, Kelly Walsh 155, Green River 148, Thunder Basin 141, Campbell County 136, Sheridan 104, Natrona County 102, Cheyenne South 93, Newcastle 17.
RAWLINS PRE-INVITE – Cheyenne East, Douglas, Evanston, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs.
Zoe Schmidt of RS won 2 events, and so did Guinevere Roberson of Douglas and East's Nzelle Ayokosok.
Team Scores = Cheyenne East 345, Douglas 210, Evanston & Rock Springs 201, Lyman 181, Rawlins 125.

Saturday, Aug. 30:
BRUCE GRESLY PENTATHLON IN LANDER – Cody, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Powell, Riverton, Sublette County, Worland.
Katy Anderson of Lander won the pentathlon.
DALE ROSS PENTATHLON IN RAWLINS – Douglas, Evanston, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs.
Guinevere Roberson of Douglas was the individual winner. Douglas took 1st in the team standings.
GILLETTE PENTATHLON – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Newcastle, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
Tavia Arnell of Green River was the pentathlon winner.
Team Scores = Thunder Basin 105, Central & Sheridan 97 (tie), Laramie 84, Buffalo 78, Green River 61, Kelly Walsh 53, Campbell County 52, Natrona County 18, South 4, Newcastle 3.
