Thunder Basin flexed their muscles at the Shane Shatto Wrestling Tournament in Douglas with a 2nd place just 4.5 points behind Natrona. Antonio Avila is a returning state champion for the Bolts team as he took the podium at 113. This year, he has moved up to 126 and won the Shatto with a 12-1 win over Colton Coffman from Lusk.

Lane Catlin is another returning state champion and he took the 285-pound crown in Douglas with a pin over Ethan Mack from Wright. The 3rd champion at the Shatto tourney from Thunder Basin was Jais Rose at 145 pounds as he beat a fellow state in Wyatt McDermott from Thermopolis. Rose placed 2nd last year at the state tournament at 132 pounds.

Lance Striefel took 2nd at 120, Cael Porter was 6th at 152, Deyton Johnson was 5th at 160 points, Cort Catlin earned the #4 spot at 170 with Aden Jorgensen taking 2nd at 182. In addition to those guys on this Bolt team, Dillon Glick was 5th at 195 so it was a strong all-around effort.

We had an opportunity to chat with Antonio Avila and Lane Catlin after their championship matches on Saturday. It's nice to end the day on top of the podium!

73 Years Ago The Storm Of The Century Hit Wyoming

73 years ago, in 1949 the storm of the century hit the Western US. Here is a look at some pictures that tell the story...

'The One': Look Inside the Most Expensive Home in America

When producer, turned real estate developer, Nile Niami bought a parcel of land overlooking L.A. back in 2012 for $28 million, his plan was to build the “biggest and most expensive modern home in America,” with an eventual asking price of $500 million. The project has taken over 10 years, and now due to the owner defaulting on upward of $165 million of loans and debts, the massive estate has gone into receivership and is now on the market for $295M. Bosting 21 bedrooms and 42 bathrooms throughout its 105,000 sq. feet space, the mega-mansion is filled with a slew of insanely cool extras and amenities. Did we mention 5 pools, a 5000 sq. ft. bedroom, 10,000 bottle wine room, nightclub, full-service salon and spa, 10,000-square-foot sky deck, 400-foot private outdoor running track with a glass-walled view of the city? The home is truly a masterpiece that has to be seen to be believed.
