Thunder Basin was looking for an undefeated regular season in 4A and took their show on the road to Laramie on Friday night. The Bolts flexed their muscles early and often with 1st quarter touchdowns from Hayden Lunberg on an 11-yard run plus Jaxon Pikula ran it in from a dozen yards out

In the 2nd quarter, Thunder Basin quarterback Mason Hamilton threw a couple of touchdown passes to Blaine Allen. Sandwiched in between that was another TD run from Pikula so at halftime, it 35-0 in favor of Thunder Basin.

The offensive onslaught continued in the 3rd quarter with Lundberg and Pikula scoring again, plus a one-yard run for a score from Ryan Baker. Laramie finally hit paydirt as Janson Adair caught a 60-yard touchdown pass but that was not nearly enough as Thunder Basin goes 9-0 during the regular season with a 55-7 win over Laramie. The bolts will be the #1 seed in the 4A playoffs and will host cross-town rival Gillette. Laramie finished the year 1-8 and did not qualify for the playoffs
