Thunder Basin finished 2nd in 4A a year ago, so there's no shortage of motivation from a year ago. The Bolts met an improved Rock Springs program on the road on Friday and reeled off 31 straight points between the 2nd and 3rd quarters to win this one 41-21. Bolt uber athlete Jaxon Pikula had 3 touchdowns including 2, long TD grabs and Hayden Lundberg had 2 rushing touchdowns. The Tigers made it interesting with touchdowns in the 3rd and 4th quarters but it wasn't enough. Thunder Basin is 2-0 and will host Cheyenne South this week. Rock Springs is 1-1 and will be in Casper on Friday to take on Kelly Walsh. Enjoy some of the images that we have from Friday's game in Sweetwater County.
