Thunder Basin’s Jersie Taylor Commits to Sheridan College

Thunder Basin all-state basketball player Jersie Taylor will be headed down I-90 westbound to play at Sheridan College.

Taylor averaged 13.6 points per game this past season to lead the Bolts in scoring. She posted 4 of the 5 top-scoring performances for her team in 2019-20. Taylor shot 52% from the field from the 2-point range and 46% overall. She also averaged 3.2 steals a contest as well as 2.7 assists per game.

In her junior season, Thunder Basin won the 4A state championship as Taylor averaged 11 points per game as well as 3 steal and 2 assists per contest. In her sophomore year, Thunder Basin took 3rd at state with Taylor averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds per game, shooting 49% from 2 point range.
