Tongue River's Carleigh Reish appeared on the track and field season as a freshman in 2019 as she captured the 2A state championship in the long jump at 16 feet 6 inches. In that 2019, State Meet, she placed 3rd in the 200-meter dash and 6in the high jump.

Fast forward to 2021 and Reish started out the season winning four events in the Greybull meet and placed 3rd in the 100 and 3rd in the high jump at last week's meet in Buffalo.

She ran 13.26 in the 100, 27.14 in the 200 to take 6th, and cleared 4-11 in the high jump for the bronze medal. Reish is a solid all-around athlete who was an all-state volleyball player for Tongie River this past season was an all-conference selection in basketball, averaging 9 points per game.

We caught up with her at the Buffalo meet to talk about the season to date.
