Rock Springs senior Brynn Bider has signed at Idaho State University for track and field. A three-time all-conference performer for the Tigers in track and field, Bider was a regional 4A long jump champion in 2022 as a freshman. She has qualified for the Wyoming Outdoor Track and Field State Championships all three years of her career. Bider has earned 12 letters in her prep career, five of which were from track and field.

Bider chose ISU because of the coaches, campus, and her future teammates. She was recruited as a multi-event student-athlete for the Bengals by Idaho State head coach Hilary Merkley and jumps coach Joe Silvers.

Her best outdoor track finish was sixth place in the 4A long jump in 2023. She has also run the 100 and 200 meters and on Rock Springs’ 4x400 and Sprint Medley relay teams at the state track meet.

Brynn began her track and field career in fourth grade and worked with Taylor Kelting, who is now the head coach at Sheridan High School, on her speed and agility. She also credits coaches Casey Walker, Mark Bedard, Sid Chaulk, Cooper Crockett, Mesa Weidle, and Paige Toomer for being pivotal in her development throughout the past seven years.

Bider also played volleyball and basketball at RSHS. She was a four-time letter-winner in volleyball and was a two-time all-conference selection by coaches in the state. Brynn was also recruited to play volleyball but chose track and field. Bider earned three letters in basketball.
