
Trio of Mt. View Football Players Head to Dickinson State
Three football players from 2A state champion Mountain View will be taking their skills in Dickinson State in North Dakota. Braeden Walk is a 3-time all-state selection and this past season at the quarterback spot, he threw 19 touchdown passes with just 4 interceptions. He threw for 1406 yards and completed 63% of his passes. Walk also ran the ball for 759 yards.
Briggin Bluemel caught 29 passes this past season for the Buffaloes and 7 of those went for touchdowns. He had 540 yards catching the football and is also a 3-time all-state selection.
Defensive lineman Breckin Barnes was also named all-state twice in his career and recorded an astounding 81 tackles this season, 16 of those for loss. Mountain View finished the year 11-0 and beat Buffalo in the 2A championship 24-14.
