Upton-Sundance ended the regular season in the right foot with a 40-14 road win over Big Horn to secure the #3 seed from the East in the 2A playoffs. Big Horn led in this game 14-7 after one quarter of play as Cooper Garber threw a 47 yard touchdown pass to Dawson Richards and Garber also had a 3 yard run for a score. Reece Barritt kicked off the Upton-Sundance scoring with a 36 yard gallop for a TD in that opening quarter.

The Patriots asserted themselves in the 2nd quarter as Levi Rudloff caught a 27 yard TD pass from Keaton Mills and Mills also threw a touchdown pass to Kaedyn Fletcher to give Upton-Sundance at 21-14 lead.

The Patriots proceeded to put 19 points in the scoreboard in the 3rd quarter as Barritt returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score, Luca Brooks had a 32 yard touchdown reception and Barritt tallied his 3rd touchdown of the game on with a 13 yard scoring grab. Barritt by the way had 126 yards rushing as the Patriots had 205 yards on the ground for the game.

Upton-Sundance is 6-2 overall and will be at Lovell for the first round of the playoffs. Big Horn at 3-5 made the playoffs as well as the #4 seed from the East and will travel to defending champion Lyman on Friday afternoon.
