A couple of one-loss teams in Class 1A hooked up on Friday in Yoder as Upton Sundance paid a visit to Southeast. The U.S. Patriots meant business in this contest and started the scoring in the 1st quarter with a 2 yard run for a touchdown by Jess Claycomb so it was 7-0 Upton-Sundance.

The Patriots really started to put the pedal to the metal with 2 more touchdowns, the first one was a Jayden Caylor 38 yard gallop to the end zone and the 2nd one was a 5-yard scoring run from Levi Rudloff, so at halftime, Upton Sundance led 20-0.

After a scoreless 3rd quarter, Upton-Sundance tacked on another touchdown with their defense as Kye Taylor had a 10-yard score on a fumble recovery and that was pretty much the game. Upton Sundance gets to 6-1 with a 27-0 over the Southeast Cyclones with a road game coming up this week at Pine Bluffs. Southeast is 4-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play with a road game at Wright on Friday.
