The Kelly Walsh boys basketball team started the year 0-5 but reeled off 3 wins in the Cheyenne Tournament over the weekend. The Trojans were victorious over Cheyenne East, Thunder Basin, and Cheyenne Central, finishing the tourney with a 50-36 win over Central on Saturday night.

KW was led in scoring on Saturday by Mason Eager with 12, Logan Atnip, the 6-5 sophomore had 9 and Jack Nicholls threw in 8. The Trojans had a sharp defensive effort, especially in the 4th quarter. Central is 5-5 on the year and received 16 points from senior Tate Berry with Cade Brown chipping in 8. The Indians have plenty of guys who can score, but they suffered through some cold stretches over the weekend.

Be sure and take a look at some pics from that KW-Central boys basketball game in our gallery below. Enjoy!
