The first coaches/media poll of February has one new team crack the ranks in their respective classes, while most other teams stayed put.

It's still Sheridan and Natrona at #1 unanimous and #2 in the 4A poll. Gillette moves up to #3 after beating now #4 East last week. The Lady Camels look to move up more, when they hit the road Friday to play at Sheridan. Evanston is now getting attention, as the Lady Red Devils are the new #5.

The top 4 teams in 3A still hail from the east. Things hold with Douglas on top, followed by Rawlins, Torrington and Newcastle. The 2nd ranked Lady Outlaws enter the tough part of their schedule this weekend, as they visit both the 3rd ranked Lady TrailBlazers and the 4th ranked Lady Dogies. Meanwhile, Powell is in the rankings at #5.

The new team is 2A, is Sundance, who check in at #5. The Lady Bulldogs have a chance to prove themselves this Friday, when #1 Tongue River pays them a visit. Elsewhere, Kemmerer, Lovell, and Southeast maintain their #2, #3 and #4 rankings this week.

As for 1A, the new ranked team at #5 is Burlington. Not much else changed besides that. Lingle-Ft. Laramie retains their unanimous #1 ranking, despite picking their first loss last week, but it was vs. a 2A team. Upton, Little Snake River and Cokeville are still ranked #2, #3 and #4.
