WyoPreps Basketbll Rankings On February 25, 2026

The new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Basketball Polls featured the final rankings of the season for teams in Class 1A and 2A, as they enter the postseason on Thursday at regional tournaments. There wasn’t a lot of movement, but two teams re-entered the top five in the girls’ poll. The boys’ rankings saw two teams trade spots in Class 1A, and two teams rejoined the top five in 3A and 4A for the first time since early in the season.

WYOPREPS COACHES & MEDIA BASKETBALL POLLS 2-25-26

The Class 1A girls' rankings remained unchanged from last week for their final rankings before the postseason. Cokeville remained No. 1, followed by the same four. In 2A girls, Thermopolis re-entered the poll for the first time in over a month. Nothing changed in 3A, and 4A saw Sheridan climb back into fifth.

1 = Cokeville

2 = Burlington

3 = Southeast

4 = Little Snake River

5 = Upton

Class 2A: (Final Rankings)

1 = Sundance

2 = Big Horn

3 = Wyoming Indian

4 = Tongue River

5 = Thermopolis

Class 3A:

1 = Cody

2 = Lander

3 = Pinedale

4 = Wheatland

5 = Powell

Class 4A:

1 = East

2 = Green River

3 = Central

4 = Thunder Basin

5 = Sheridan

The Late Shuffling of 4A Boys Continues

For the second straight week, Class 4A changed the most. The biggest difference was that Kelly Walsh rejoined the top five for the first time since the preseason rankings. Central and Natrona County traded spots, and Rock Springs dropped out. Cody re-entered the 3A top five at No. 5. The Broncs are back into the poll for the first time since the second rankings of the season back in mid-December. Class 2A remained unchanged, and the five teams ranked received the only votes. Class 1A boys saw a little movement, as Cokeville and Upton swapped positions.
