Evanston's Brenna Fackrell Signs with Chadron St. for Track

Evanston track athlete Brenna Fackrell will be taking her skills to the Division II college level at Chadron State in Nebraska. She will be competing in the heptathlon which involves the 200-meter dash, the 100-meter hurdles, the 800-meter run along with the long jump, the high jump, the shot-put, and the javelin.

Fackrell was certainly busy at the 2024 State Indoor Track Meet in Gillette as her 1600 sprint medley team took 2nd place in 3A and her 4x200 meter relay team placed 8th. Individually, she was 11th in the long jump at 15-3 and placed 30th in the prelims of the 200 in 30.35.

At the 2023 State Outdoor Track Meet, Fackrell's 4x400 relay team took 8th in 4A and the her 1600 medley relay was 10th,

Brenna will be a 3rd generation athlete at Chadron State. Her father Mike and her grandfather Kay both played football for the Eagles.
