Big Contingent of Wyoming Wrestlers Compete in Virginia Beach

The huge National High School Coaches Association Wrestling Tournament was held in Virginia Beach, and once again, a big group from Wyoming was there to test their skills. Close to 6000 high school wrestlers were on the mats over the weekend, and for the girls, Wyoming has an All-American as Sheridan's Becca Oetken took 4th place at 185 pounds. She went 4-2 in the tourney and narrowly lost the 3rd place match to Aaliyah Grammer from Missouri 3-2. Oetken is a 3-time Wyoming State Champion and is a back-to-back All-American at the NHSCA event.
