Jackson will host the 2020 Wyoming High School Alpine Skiing State Championships on Friday and Saturday.

The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village will be the site of this year’s championship races.

GIRLS:

Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale

Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking 11th consecutive title & 29th in school history)

Defending Event Champs = None (will have new)

BOYS:

Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale

Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking a 9th straight title, 20th in school history)

Defending Event Champs = None (will have new)

SCHEDULE:

Friday: Slalom, 10 a.m. (Moran run)

RESULTS FROM DAY ONE:

Sidney Nash and Sophia Morgan of Jackson tied for first place in the girls' Slalom race, while Ridge Kling of Jackson won the boys' race.

The Jackson girls have a commanding lead in the team race, while the Jackson boys' lead over Kelly Walsh is just seven entering the second day.

Saturday: Giant Slalom, 10 a.m. (Crags/Moran runs)
