The Cokeville Panthers were a very determined group this season in 1A girls basketball. The state tournament was an adventure especially in the semi-finals as the Panthers narrowly prevailed over Upton. Kaycee's road to the championship game wasn't a walk in the park either, so it was the survival of the fittest on Saturday afternoon in Casper

The first half was very competitive but Cokeville started to pull away in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Bucs 12-6. The Panthers shot 44% from the floor in the 2nd half to win going away 46-33. Emmie Barnes had a solid game for Cokeville with 20 points and Kamille Nate chipped in 10. Kaycee was led by Tinley Pierson with 16 and Sierra Kilts had 7. Cokeville now has back to back 1A state championships and finished 24-2. Kaycee had a good season as well with a 20-7 mark for the season.
