We’re one week away from the regular season of high school football wrapping up.

Some pieces to the playoff puzzle have been determined, while others are still up in the air.

Tiebreakers start with the result of head-to-head games. Then, it goes to the result of games against the highest-ranking non-tied team in the conference standings. You continue through that until the tie is broken. If a tie still exists, it goes to a modified points system, where the most you can get for a victory is +12, and the most for a loss is -12. An example would be if Team A defeated Team B, 28-0, Team A would be +12, while Team B would be -12. If the score was 10-7, Team A would be +3 and Team B would be -3. Some of these potential three and four-way tiebreakers are factored in below.

Here’s what it looks like:

Class 4A:

In = Sheridan, East, Natrona, Campbell County, Thunder Basin, Central, Rock Springs, Kelly Walsh.

Out = Laramie, South.

Already Locked in:

Sheridan = No. 1 seed

East = No. 2 seed

Kelly Walsh = No. 8 seed

To Be Determined:

Natrona County = No. 3 seed with a win over Thunder Basin; or a Campbell County loss and a loss to Thunder Basin by 8 points or less. NC; Cannot be the No. 4 seed in any scenario; No. 5 seed with a Campbell County win and a loss to TB; or with a Campbell County loss and loss to TB by 9 points or more.

Campbell County = No. 3 seed with a win over Sheridan and an NC loss to Thunder Basin; No. 3 seed with a loss and an NC loss to TB by 9 points or more; No. 4 with a loss to Sheridan and an NC win; or a loss to Sheridan and an NC loss to TB by 8 points or less. Cannot be the No. 5 seed in any scenario.

Thunder Basin = Cannot be the No. 3 seed in any scenario; No. 4 with a win over NC and Campbell County win over Sheridan; No. 4 seed with a Campbell County loss and a win over NC by 9 points or more; No. 5 seed with a loss.

Central = No. 6 seed with a win over Rock Springs; No. 7 seed with a loss to RS.

Rock Springs = No. 6 seed with a win over Central; No. 7 seed with a loss to Central.

Class 3A East:

In = Buffalo, Douglas, Riverton, Worland.

Out = Lander, Rawlins.

Seeds To Be Determined:

If Buffalo, Douglas, and Riverton all win in Week 8, here is the tiebreaking scenario:

Riverton = No. 1 seed with a win vs. Worland; the Wolverines lost to Douglas by 8 (-8) and beat Buffalo by 11 (+11) = +3.

Buffalo = No. 2 seed with a win vs. Rawlins: the Bison beat Douglas by 10 (+10) and lost to Riverton by 11 (-11) = -1.

Douglas = No. 3 seed with a win vs. Lander: the Bearcats lost to Buffalo by 10 (-10) and beat Riverton by 8 (+8) = -2.

If Riverton loses to Worland and both Buffalo and Douglas win:

Buffalo = 1, Douglas = 2, Worland = 3, and Riverton = 4.

If Buffalo loses to Rawlins and both Riverton and Douglas win:

Douglas = 1, Riverton = 2, Buffalo = 3, and Worland = 4.

If Douglas loses to Lander and both Riverton and Buffalo win:

Riverton = 1, Buffalo = 2, Douglas = 3, and Worland = 4.

If Riverton wins and both Buffalo & Douglas lose:

Riverton = 1, Buffalo = 2, Douglas = 3, and Worland = 4.

If Buffalo wins and both Riverton and Douglas lose:

Buffalo = 1, Douglas = 2, Worland = 3, and Riverton = 4.

If Douglas wins and both Buffalo and Riverton lose:

Douglas = 1; Riverton is No. 2 if they lose to Worland by 10 points or less; Buffalo = 3, and Worland = 4.

If Douglas wins and Worland beats Riverton by 11 points or more:

Douglas = 1, Buffalo = 2, Worland = 3, and Riverton = 4.

Worland = No. 4 seed with a loss.

Class 3A West:

In = Star Valley, Powell, Cody.

Bubble = Evanston, Jackson, Green River.

Already Locked in:

Star Valley = No. 1 seed

Seeds To Be Determined:

Winner of Powell at Cody is the No. 2 seed and the loser is the No. 3 seed.

Evanston = No. 4 seed with a win over Green River.

Jackson = No. 4 seed with a win over Star Valley and an Evanston loss to Green River.

If Green River beats Evanston and Jackson loses to Star Valley, all three teams finish at 1-4:

Green River must beat Evanston by 12 points or more to create a coin-flip scenario; otherwise, Evanston wins a 3-team points differential tiebreaker since Jackson is already at 0 points (-12 loss to Evanston & +12 points in win over Green River).

Class 2A East:

In = Big Horn, Torrington, Tongue River, Wheatland.

Out = Burns, Glenrock, Newcastle, Upton-Sundance.

Already Locked in:

Already Locked in:

Mountain View = No. 1 seed

Cokeville = No. 2 seed with a win over Lyman; No. 2 seed with a loss to Lyman by 9 points or less and a Lovell win over Thermopolis. No. 3 seed with a loss to Lyman by 10 points or more; Cannot be the No. 4 seed thanks to the points tiebreaker differential and the Panthers’ win over Lovell.

Lyman = No. 2 seed with a win over Cokeville and a Lovell loss; No. 2 seed with a win over Cokeville by 10 points or more and a Lovell win over Thermopolis; No. 4 seed with a loss and a Lovell win; No. 3 seed with a loss to Cokeville and a Lovell loss to Thermopolis by 5 points or more.

Lovell = No. 3 seed with a win over Thermopolis and a Cokeville win over Lyman; No. 3 seed with a win over Thermopolis and a Lyman win by 9 points or less over Cokeville; No. 3 seed with a loss to Thermopolis by 4 points or less and Lyman loss to Cokeville. Cannot be the No. 2 seed in any scenario thanks to the points tiebreaker differential and their loss to Cokeville; Out with a loss to Thermopolis by 4 points or more.

Thermopolis = out with a loss; No. 4 seed with a win over Lovell; No. 4 seed with a over Lovell by 5 points or more and a Cokeville win over Lyman.

Lusk = No. 3 seed with a win over Wright and a Southeast loss to Pine Bluffs; No. 3 seed with a loss and a Southeast loss. No. 4 seed with a loss. Cannot get to the No. 2 seed because of the points tiebreaker differential and the loss to Pine Bluffs earlier in the season.
