2023 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championship Preview
The 2023 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships are Friday and Saturday at Jackson.
The Trail Creek Nordic Center will serve as the venue.
Both the women’s and men’s races will have a new champion in both disciplines because last year’s winners graduated.
WOMEN:
Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale, Sheridan
Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking 12th consecutive title & 25th in school history)
Defending Event Champs = there will be a new champion in both the Classic & Freestyle race
Schedule
Friday: 5km Classic race, 10 a.m. (15-second intervals)
Saturday: 10km Freestyle or Skate race, 11 a.m. (mass start)
MEN:
Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale, Sheridan
Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking a 5th straight title, 34th in school history)
Defending Event Champs = both Freestyle and Classic will have a new champion this year

Saturday: 10km Freestyle or Skate race, 10 a.m. (mass start)
