3A State Basketball Day One Recaps

Girls Final Score: (2W) Lyman 46 (3E) Newcastle 34

In what turned out to be the only Class 3A game played in Casper, the Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never trailed in beating the Dogies 46-34. Brice Hansen and Sage Bradshaw scored 10 points apiece, while Mandy Eyre added six points and 11 rebounds. Lyman led by as many as 19 points early in the fourth quarter before Newcastle closed the gap to the final margin. The Dogies were led by Jaylen Ostenson and Ally Cass with 12 points apiece.
