With Lyman not qualifying for the 3A state volleyball tournament, we'll have a new champion this year and Worland made a statement with a 3 games to none win over Douglas in the first semi-final of the night at the Casper Events Center. The Warriors look to be playing their best ball right now but Douglas gave them all they could handle. The final was 25-22, 25-22 and 25-23. Worland gets to 28-9 and will be looking for its first state title since 2015. Rawlins had to really work hard to hold off a pesky Pinedale squad as the Outlaws win the 2nd semi-final of the night 25-14, 24-26, 26-28, 26-24 and 15-7. Both teams showed a lot of resilience but Rawlins displayed more of it. The Outlaws are 36-5 on the year and will be looking for a state championship for the first time since 2001. Here's some video both 3A semi-final matches. Enjoy!
